Yeah, I probably should have written this in a slightly more computer-oriented site, but seeing as we're all using computers to look at my words of wisdom anyway, I'll leave it be.
Recently bought a PS3. I have to say, I was really hyped up about getting it but now I've got it, it's a little.. well..underwhelming.
I was EXPECTING a fantastic, magical console/computer hybrid that would allow me to play all my fave games AND allow me to waste vast amounts of time writing boring drivel such as this. As you may have guessed from the negative tone, it doesn't do all of that.
What it does do: Allow me to play about HALF of all the ps and ps2 games I have, the rest just plain don't work. not at all. you can't even do the ps2 trick of take disc out, wipe disc, clean inside if necessary, pop it back in and voila! it works! But not with PS3. Ooohhh, no. It reads the disc, shows you the playstation/ps2 logo, then...... nothing. It's just a bloody blank screen!
On top of that, these "next generation" games are just crap. I haven't played one yet that made me go "WOW", which at the end of the day, is what you fcuking expect from something that claims to be so "next generation".
Oh well, I should probably list the games I have for it...
Warhawk, Genji, The Darkness, Heavenly Sword, Devil May Cry 4 (Actually quite good) among others. If you have one of these overhyped machines, send me a message and I MAY decide to give you my PSN username. (I should be so lucky)

I personally am not into video games(motion sickness
) but I know my son was alllllll excited when his big brother sent him a ps3 after leaving for the Army and we immediately went out to spend his life savings on a very expensive game(I cant remember which one) but got it home to find out it was'nt compatible or did'nt work for some reason.............and yeah,I dont think he ever did get to play that game.
Thank God in Heaven he is now into playing baseball and does'nt spend much time at the controls anymore.
