um, I hope you're not actually a fisherman, because if you are then going by this I would have to say you need a new hook.

I agree. The level of direct influence the media has over people is quite shocking, it's taken as gospel so to speak. I imagine if the newsreader announced that the slippers were now going to be mass-produced, the entirety of your aforementioned drooling audience would ignore it in favor of worshipping the authentic ones. Obviously, the only difference would be that the real ones had been worn by Judy Garland.
It would be interesting to observe the rection of the public if it was then announced Judy Garland was going to try every pair on at the factory.

Sorry, but I have to say that seems a little intolerant to me. Granted, the human race does seem to have a phenomenal problem with tolerance of people from different countries/religions/cultures, whatever. The important thing as far as humans are concerned is that there is SOME difference. Heck, a lot of the time it's as subtle as a difference in personality.
My point, therefore, is that one of the few ways we can get used to each other (which is what the problem is), is to mix with people from different backgrounds.

Or how about, you're not the only one who is in a situation like this...
Actually you sound a lot like me, so my advice to you would be; don't rely on God to fix your life, I never have. The only way things will start to go the way you want them to is for you to change your life yourself.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not having a go at you. The attitude you have is what I was stuck with for about 5 years, so I know it's hard to break away from it. But at the same time, it's up to you to fix it. I'm trying to fix my life too, and it's not going to be easy. But I still try.

I'm not too sure, he sounds pretty sure a girl is what he wants. Loneliness will usually accept any friendship offered, but to truly extinguish it, you may find that you need that particular level of intimacy.
